- Powerful antioxidant protection for eyes, skin and cardiovascular system*
- Zanthin® brand astaxanthin
Astaxanthin is one of nature's most potent antioxidants and free radical scavengers. It has the unique ability to cross the brain/blood barrier into cells in the eye and the nervous system, and is capable of preventing oxidative damage to both kinds of tissues. Astaxanthin is many times more potent than many common antioxidants, including Vitamins C and E, and beta carotene. In fact, one scientific study showed that astaxanthin is 6000 times better at neutralizing singlet oxygen free radical than Vitamin C.* Zanthin® brand astaxanthin is made by a proprietary Supercritical CO2 process. Contains no sugar, salt, dairy, yeast, wheat, gluten, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors.
